The Forrest Research Foundation welcomed its newest cohort of Forrest Fellows and Forrest Scholars this week, with a comprehensive orientation program designed to lay the foundation for a productive and purpose-driven researcher journey.
Held at Forrest Hall, the orientation delved into the key initiatives of the Foundation, institutional drivers and pathways to impact. Sessions focused on how to make the most of their time at the Foundation and covered topics including funding, publishing and outreach.
Several current Forrest researchers and alumni also shared reflections of their time at the Foundation, offering real-world advice on building networks, managing setbacks and translating research into action.
This initiative reflects the Forrest Research Foundation’s commitment to nurturing a vibrant and inclusive research community and empowering scholars to contribute meaningfully to their respective fields.
