Dr Mary Rapp is a performer, composer, and sound designer whose work bridges music, acoustics, and creative research. Holding a cross-disciplinary PhD from the University of Sydney Audio and Acoustics Lab and the Conservatorium of Music, she has composed for theatre, film, and art installations, and performed as a cellist, double bassist, and vocalist in jazz, classical, and experimental settings worldwide. Her research and creative projects integrate impulse response measurement, acoustic analysis, and site-specific composition, advancing both the scientific and artistic understanding of acoustic environments.
