2025 Forrest Creative Fellowships - Applications now open!

The Forrest Research Foundation is now accepting applications for Creative and Performance Leadership Fellowships commencing in 2025.

The Forrest Research Foundation is offering two prestigious two-year Fellowships in 2025 to outstanding researchers and practitioners from around the world to conduct paradigm-shifting creative practice and research based at any of Western Australia’s five universities.

Key dates
Applications close: 11:59PM AWST 30 August 2024
Shortlisting complete by universities: 30 September 2024
Call for references and interviews: mid to late October 2024
Awards announced: end of October 2024

The Creative and Performance Leadership Fellowships are open to candidates from all countries and all creative and performing arts disciplines.

Applicants will have a track record of proven academic excellence and will have already made significant personal contributions to their discipline. They will have gained high-level experience with a research component through studying and researching in a number of different institutions, and have professional experience in the creative arts or performing arts sector.

Value
These generous fellowships provide a stipend and accommodation at Forrest Hall in a luxury self-contained studio apartment, with a total value of over AU$250,000. Within Forrest Hall, you will live amongst other researchers and creative practitioners in a vibrant and inspiring research environment. The Foundation also offers a unique ‘researcher’s journey’ program that exposes our Fellows to world leading researchers, mentoring, connections with Australia’s learned academies and more.
