Dr Kieran Mulroney
When a patient is sick with a serious infection, choosing an antibiotic to use that will treat the infection is a matter of life and death.

I am an early career research microbiologist with a specific focus on the development, validation, commercialisation, and implementation of new diagnostic technology for clinical microbiology. With the rise of antimicrobial resistance, I have made it my career mission to develop innovative technological solutions that enable the practice of personalised precision pathology for serious infections.
