The Forrest Research Foundation had the pleasure of welcoming the Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia, His Excellency Mr Jaan Reinhold. It was an honour to have the Ambassador visit the Foundation during his second trip to Perth since assuming the role in August of this year. Prior to this position, he served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United Arab Emirates (2019-2024) with co-accreditations to the State of Kuwait, Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar.
Estonia is a highly developed, vibrant open European economy with high value-added sectors, such as ICT as well as traditional sectors including transport and furniture. During his visit, the delegation which included Honorary Consul of Estonia to Perth, Ms. Anu van Hattem discussed research, the digital economy and cyber security.
