Dr Andrea Rassell, Dawid Makosa, Dr Houda Ennaceri, Liyuwork Dana, Dr Mark Wong, Dr Matthew Dodd and Dr Samuel Starko were formally welcomed into the Forrest Research Foundations alumni community during a ceremony held at Forrest Hall. The event celebrated their transition from Forrest researcher to alumni and their ongoing connection to an international network of Forrest graduates.
Nicola Forrest AO, co-founder of the Forrest Research Foundation, presented each new alumnus with a message stick. The ceremony also marked the welcoming of new Forrest Scholars and Forrest Fellows joining the Foundation. They were presented with a pin acknowledging their place within the Forrest community and their connection to its values.
The occasion also provided an opportunity to acknowledge the significant contribution of Forrest Research Foundation board member, Emerita Professor Robyn Owens with a message stick presented in appreciation of her dedicated service which will conclude next year.
As they move into the next phase of their journey, the new Forrest alumni leave behind a legacy of leadership, collaboration and excellence. The Foundation looks forward to following the meaningful contributions they will continue to make within their respective fields.
